Bay of Quinte Market Update: April

The average Price for homes sold in the Quinte region in April was $651,959- This is a decrease of approximately 8 percent since last April. However, overall the trend is continuing upwards since this time last year as we are seeing prices begin to increase again. Houses are selling for 98% of list price which is an increase from what we have seen over the last few months.


Supply:


Bay of Quinte area market currently has 2.7 months supply of houses for buyers. That is how long it would take for all homes on the market to be sold to current buyers (2.7 months), if no new listings came onto the market. There is less supply than we saw even just last month, which displays an increase in the numbers of buyers looking for homes compared to how many homes are being listed on the market.
